I’m a current junior in USC’s game art program based in southern California. I’ve lived in Hong Kong, Canada, and Arizona, and traveled worldwide, which is why I love how digital interactive media is able to affect and connect people across the globe. I think that games excel as emotional tools—they can make the world a better place by inspiring people, by giving them the hope to make a change that we so desperately need in our current era. I think that all art really exists to improve the lives of others, whether it be by spurring self reflection, sending a message, or even just providing some entertainment. Ultimately, wherever I’m working whether it’s in games, comics, illustration, or some other artform, I strive to have that impact on other people.
